Pinoy TV Channel series will entertain you!
GMA Pinoy TV is one of the most popular Filipino channels that can be watched abroad. Most of its popularity is due to the different series that are broadcasted by this channel. Everything started with the MariMar Philippine drama in 2007, which became a huge hit and every Filipino that lived and worked overseas was watching it. It was a classic telenovela story where a woman falls in love with a man out of her league and they have a daughter who is subject to many intrigues, but at the end everything comes in to place and everyone lives happily ever after (except for the bad characters, of course). Because this drama was a huge success, the tradition of series on GMA Pinoy Channel began. Turns out that Filipinos loved the other series offered by the channel too. In 2008, an unusual program named Dysabel started showing, and it was followed by Trudis Liit, and the newest drama series that started showing in February 2012 – My Beloved, which is also successfully received by the audience. Besides the telenovela series, a talk show named “Love ni Mister, Love ni Misis” hosted by Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi is very popular on this channel. |
